hawaiianbuckeye/HAYN is Scott Terna. Punter for OSU in the early 90s. Pinned UM at the 1 with a 53 yarder in '94 that set up a safety and jump started the win over UM.

It should also be mentioned that he (Scott Terna) is on the sidelines as a photographer for many of the current Buckeye games. Many (if not all) of the game photos you have seen in this thread are his.

Um, I did that a long time ago when this discussion was "born". This is what Mili said after showing him a Buckeye Leaf from my helmet, "yeah the one you have is BLACK!"
Until someone SHOWS me (not tell me) othewise, I'm still saying they're BLACK.

You're right pictures are not the best source, hence Mili is waiting till I get him up close to a helmet in the locker room next season. But I'll be able to inspect one before that. Mine are BLACK and always have been. If your player buddies say they're dark green, I'll have to see it for myself first b/c that would be another "uniform" change that has been made and undetected. Until then, THEY'RE BLACK!

taken 3 minutes ago from my car, bought last year at the texas game.
One of the "cheapo" green ones. Also, notice that it is a "REVERSE NEGATIVE" of the REAL AUTHENTIC BLACK ONES! I was waiting for someone like you to post that "piece of crap" for that very reason! (As seen in my game helmet below and a game helmet from Coach Tressel's webpage).

why not just say you know there are 2 different stickers out there? regardless....those ones are green, and weren't sold to me as cheapo green pieces of crap.

hayn you better let Hawk know, apparently he was wearing the 'fake' ones during the fiesta bowl... with the longer lower leaf on the right (see the attachment)
or maybe the style has changed, just like the orientation, since the two pics in your last post. I don't think they are bright green like the one on your steering wheel, but the change in orientation makes me wonder if the color changed too.

They have reversed them back and forth a few times I've noticed that too! I actually noticed when they started selling the REAL BLACK ones compared to the "cheapo green" ones. At one time all you could get was the "cheapo green" ones in the stores. So, I wanted to see how they were different. The Black ones in the store were a REVERSE of the ones on our helmets!Regardless the one on Hawk's helmet are NOT GREEN like the "CHEAPO GREEN" ones as posted by BuckeyNation27. The one he posted is DEFINITELY NOT the ones that go on the helmets. I AM POSITIVE OF THAT! He posted a GREEN one no doubt, but it is one of the "cheapos" that were first made available to the public a long time ago.
