Considering the talent in the QB room, it has to be an attractive opportunity for a lot of qualified individuals.

Last coached QBs at Northwestern in 2001. Coached OL/TE/FB at Oklahoma.

He also coached QBs at Miami OH. I’m thinking he has the relationship with the players and that would ease some of the stress on them if Day does leave.

I guess. That said, if I’m playing at that level, I’m hoping for a dedicated QB coach who isn’t also the (at this time) only one with of duties.

I think if Day were to leave, its early enough in the off season to be able to find a competent replacement

How are you wrong if he stays? For all we know, he's got Urban's blessing to "listen" and thereby extract more coin from tOSU. If he is just blowing off the rumored "two-year commitment requirement," that would be unfortunate since Urban seems to abide by it.

Right now the guy above him on the food chain is not an imminent departure like many of the rising stars that Urban brings in (like Day).
