They are....and you're literally complaining by listing your complaints that haven't been "Fixed" by your own admission.
And yes, I'm choosing to ignore them because some of them are ridiculous (especially you acting like they didn't Just sign the #1 defensive back #1 running back the previous #1 QB, etc etc), some of them are not something we're necessarily going to find out about until it happens (LJ Sr) and some of the things may still be in progress, like how that new OC guy being hired and working with Frye to see if there is an O-line strategy ready or if they need to get someone else.....
Day has done a decent job trying to reshape both the roster and coaching staff short of he resigning entirely. He had very marginal players (e.g. Reid Carrico as one) hit the portal, he got rid of the special teams coordinator who made them unspecial, the QB coach was was redundant with O'Buttchinian's hire and a recruiter that couldn't even recruit his own family members And you're still not happy.
Call it what you want, you're complaining. Seems like a weird hill to die on.
Let's rewind, because it's starting to piss me off how much you're not listening. You posted this:
You all wanted Day to do something. So he shook the tree, got rid of the deadweight and brought in absolute STUDS. And it's still somehow not good enough. Stop moving the goalposts already and just accept reality.
Which I thought was nonsense, because NOBODY was out there stomping their feet going DO SOMETHING without defining what SOMETHING was. Not one person. So I responded with some very valid complaints people had voiced about Ryan Day since the bowl game fiasco.....namely:
- give up play calling
- lose Fleming
- fix the LJ problem
- fix the OL
So right there.....that's not me complaining, no matter how much you want it to be. Wanna know how I know? Because I'm telling you. I can understand why you would think that's somebody complaining, but I'm telling you now for more than the second time...that's not me complaining. That's me listing things that people wanted fixed.
Short version: You made it seem like people were just complaining to complain with no actual things to fix, I corrected you.
You then doubled down with this nonsense:
Again and for the umpteenth time, I don't know what some of you people want. You wanted change. You got change.
Again.....as if there were people just screaming into the void "RYAN DAY.....JUST CHANGE ANYTHING AT ALL AND I'LL BE HAPPY". That is NOT what had ever happened.
My issue wasn't Ryan Day, my issue wasn't play calling, my issue wasn't Larry Johnson. When I replied, my issue was your bullshit characterization of things that WERE NOT HAPPENING. Why? Because I'm pedantic. Who fuckin knows.
Here's a comparison. Somebody named Frank lives in a house with their 2 parents, 1 brother, and a cat. The lawn needs to be mowed, the front door has fallen off it's hinges, the furnace only works on Fridays, and the maid doesn't know how to do her one job. So Frank goes to
www.frankplanet.com and lists those things as problems with the house. Frank's dad comes home driving a brand new Corvette with the money he saved from firing the maid. Mike80 says "i DoN't UnDeRsTaNd WhY fRaNk Is StIlL cOmPlAiNiNg. He WaNtEd ChAnGe, He GoT cHaNgE."
So, since I'm pretty 100% certain I was being misunderstood by you...I'll grant you the possibility that your posts had me confused and I misunderstood what you were saying. But if what you're genuinely saying is "yOu WaNtEd ChAnGe, YoU gOt ChAnGe"......then that's a stupid comment to make in the face of what people have genuinely asked to have actually changed. Are those people right in wanting that change? Have things gone on behind the scenes to address those things? None of us know. But to paint the people who want legitimate things to change for legitimate reasons as implacable whiners whining for the sake of whining......that's not gonna fly.
