Feels like his biggest failure yet…
It's his capstone effort. The culmination of 5 years of failure.

My only comment is the one I have had for several years. He needs to become a true head coach and turn the offense over to someone to run. If Gene Smith does one thing before he leaves, convince Day of this move.
I really want to like Ryan Day. He seems like a genuinely good guy, loves his players, and has some great qualities. Building a championship team just isn't one of those qualities. Looking at how this team was constructed and what we have coming back doesn't inspire much confidence in me regarding the direction of the program. The further we get from the Urban Meyer era, the weaker these teams seem to be getting. It would take some monumental shifts in philosophies and fundamental changes in the structure of his program to bring me back around. Like many of you, i lived through the Cooper years and this is an all too familiar stench. At this point, I’m on the fence, and I haven’t been up there regarding Day before - I need some time to think it through.
The downward trend is undeniable, and 3 straight losses to the pricks Up North are unacceptable, even if they were cheating for a couple of years. I was OK with the defense tonight, they got tired in the 4th quarter largely because the offense was such a shit show.
But the special teams have been subpar, to put it nicely, all year.
And Day’s offense, where he made his name, was extremely inept tonight. Bowl games still matter to me, the nation is watching, and this performance will damage offensive recruiting for years. The backup QBs have to be better prepared than they were for tonight’s game, and the overall performance of the OL was poor most of the year.
1. Stop saying 1-3 vs Michigan. He's 2-1 and they fucking cheated.
2. I don't understand listing the record against the SEC as if that's a fucking thing. Stop feeding into the conference superiority bullshit. What's his record against teams wearing orange on odd numbered days? That's just as meaningful.
3. I'm not in his corner right now. I just can't sit by and let people use the fake COVID ducking, then double cheating bullshit as ammo. That's made up horse shit and you all know it.
4. Pull your fuckin head out of your ass, coach. Right now, you ain't it. If there was anybody out there that might be it, I'd say pull the trigger.
This is my thing too. We've come a long way from Ryan Day marching into Ann Arbor and stealing Al Washington and Greg Mattison like he was some kind of pimp to ... well... whatever tonight was. I don't want to be hard on LK, but Urban won a NC with a 3rd string QB. Day's third string QB wasn't ready for an exhibition game.I really want to like Ryan Day. Then use those as actual ammo.
