    • I've always been a sucker for vampire shows so I had to check out the premier. Not sure if it has staying power, but I saw enough to watch the next episode. An interesting twist on an old tale...

    I watched the first episode and wasn't very impressed. I'm going to watch the second episode to see if it gets any better.

    The acting seemed a bit on the bad side for most of the episode, and those GD southern accents were driving me crazy.

    Agree. I'm giving this show one more week. Same goes for "Sons of Anarchy" on FX. I've only watched the pilot for that show and it was pretty bad.

    This show's pretty much not good. Sons of Anarchy, however:banger:

    I'm just praying HBO picks up A Song of Ice and Fire... their dramas are lacking lately and that's a guaranteed home run.

    For a show with no staying power, True Blood has just started Season 4 this week. The show is apparently only vaguely similar to the book series, but the show has been awesome.

    Double premiere this week. Sunday night was the premiere of Season 4, and the second episode of the season was immediately available on HBOGO. Interesting storyline this year as necromancer Wiccans have joined the population of Bon Temps, LA.
