Anyone seen it yet. Produced by and starring Dustin Hoffman, Nick Nolte and the Shinebox guy from Goodfellas.

First episode started off a little slow, but the second really picked up. It definitely looks promising.
 
I watched the sneak peek a month or two ago, which was basically half of the first episode. I'm sure it's going to be great because HBO hits most things out of the park, but it did seem relatively inaccessible for those of us who aren't familiar with horse-track lingo. I found it really difficult to follow the conversations and therefore the plot. I'm going to watch both episodes this weekend and see if I can get into it.

I like it. I figure I'll pick up the horse racing lingo as I go, and it will make it worth watching all over after the series completes. Nick Nolte sounds like he's dying, but he's a badass. The beard isn't an accident.
