HB Dontre 'DeSoto' Wilson (Official Thread)

Your source for recruiting The Columbus Dispatch:wink: is saying Wilson to Ohio State today... maybe:)

Anticipation was high in Ohio State circles that the Buckeyes could land a commitment from blue-chip slotback Dontre Wilson of DeSoto, Texas, perhaps as soon as today. National letter-of-intent signing day is Wednesday.

Wilson committed to Oregon in the fall, only to back off that pledge three weeks ago when coach Chip Kelly left for the Philadelphia Eagles. Wilson made an official visit to Texas over the weekend, and he had an official visit to OSU the week before.

Some recruiting services were speculating last night that Wilson will pick Ohio State today. If so, it would push the 2013 OSU recruiting class to 24 members.

Wow, this sounds great for the good guys. Elliott will still be the only true RB we are taking so Wilson will team with Marshall and Jacobs in the slot position. That's some serious speed addition.

That only leaves Vonn Bell to sign on and this class would have to be the #1 in the country. Yay, Urban Meyer!!!!!!!!

I'm sure It's been discussed

But where does Wilson & Elliott fit In with the backs we already have?

Wilson will not be a RB, he's more like a slot receiver (think of the way Percy Harvin was used at UF, that will be Wilson)

I think that's right, if I'm wrong, feel free to correct me, but that's been my understanding
