I prefer long hair, but my wife wears hers fairly short. She was 'growing it out' for me a few years ago and got fed up at the 'in between' phase, so she cut it off again :( She looks great with short hair, so I can't complain.

Hair has to fit the face as well as the personality. I have had really long hair and really short hair. Currently I am in the middle, growing it out for the hubby. Everyday is a battle with myself not to just "Sinead" it. I enjoy making fun of women that you can tell spend way too much time on their hair.

Men, I like 'em bald or high and tight.

I have had my hair at every length and styled straight and curly. Short hair is the easiest to maintain. Long hair can be easy if you have a low maintenance style.

I used to be like this until I got an actual style put in my hair. I finally realized that although those women are spending a lot of time on their hair, the outcome is far better than anything I ever did by only spending 2 minutes on my hair.

where is the poll?

depends on age... before 25-30 I really don't like short hair. Anyone who looks good with it also looks good with long hair. I've seen one girl in my life I preferred with short hair.

Long hair is where it is at.

Once you start moving from young woman to the mother phase in life (wardrobe changes and everything else), the straighter, shoulder length hair does not look as good. Implementing as many curls as possible is not a good fix, tho it seems to be remarkably popular.

Long/short...Blond/brunette...Doesn't matter to me as long as she teases the front a little...
