Sigh idiots apparently trying to follow tennesee's dumbassery
Just an absolutely absurd take.Teffenhart said her group reviewed the controversy that derailed Schiano’s appointment as the University of Tennessee. She said it is not worth debating whether Schiano had direct knowledge that boys were being sexually abused by one of his co-workers. As a coach on the Penn State staff, the fact that he either didn’t know or didn’t do anything about it should disqualify him from Rutgers’ top job.
I know fax and evidents is a meme here, but serious question: how much evidence exists to suggest that Schiano had first-hand knowledge of the PSU issues while he was there? If so, are his actions in response to it known to a definitive degree?
If it’s absent and it seemingly is, (I run the risk of sounding like a piece of shit here) I hope Rutgers doesn’t cave to that trash. I’m not saying he’s some beacon of excellence l but the guy has a right to gainful employment just like us if he hasn’t faced criminal prosecution and there isn’t definitive evidence of his contribution to hiding scandal.
I don’t see why it’s okay to just try to smear someone’s name like that. Not sure where the fuck you get off trying to pressure a college for something so alleged. Focus on advocating for your fucking victims instead of applying PR pressure. Student enrollment isn’t going to drop because they hire the guy. Fucking drop it (if there’s no evidence)
