Greg Schiano (HC Rutgers Scarlet Knights)

I remember watching an NFL game... and there were 13 or 14 players between the two teams that played for Schiano at Rutgers...
and the obvious, Rutgers does not get the elite recruits.. so developing mid tier talent to NFL tier says a lot
He'd kill it at Oregon

Don't know anyone better at inter-game adjustments than Schiano.. he's been huge for us

Kind of like having players only on the team for a brief period but then making a splash with a high draft pick and doing well in the league - - it is positive reflection on tOSU. Seems like great coaches keep wanting to come here from various stages of their careers. That's certainly not a bad thing.

I know the Oregon job is a good job, but I was under the impression he wasn't looking to get back into the college game as a head coach and that he was looking to get back to the NFL as a head coach instead. Am I wrong is this thinking?

Yikes. I googled "nick saban salary" and saw $9.004M. THAT is Harbaugh's salary! Good lord. I hope he stays at scUM forever. I kind of like Harbaugh now when you think of all of the money he takes from the school and all he gives in return is whining, crying, sleepovers, tree climbing, fines, temper tantrums and 0 for Ohio State.

Internet says Oregon & Nike kingpin may be offering $10M a year... that's big time money; would be highest paid head coach in the country
No way that's right lol... he has done good things at college and was not a successful NFL coach. That'd be a 20% increase over Sabans pay.

I'd like to see us reach out to Charlie Strong particularly if Fickle and Shiano both leave.

Or go offer Dom Brown 2m a year lol
