A friend of mine close to the Va Tech program tells me that Butch Davis is really stepping up his regional recruiting efforts - He's already started advertising in the 757 (Va Beach) local newspapers


Obviously not Little's immediate region, but a close one, a good one for football and maybe a sign of a new (returning) presence in recruiting.

Notre Dame also lost Little the OT...Not much of a lose IMO, but just the principle...

They lost 3 guys that were AA much like we did in Barksdale, Martin, and Davis...

Either way it looks like the midwest took some hits this year in losing guys they thought were theirs...

To spin it a little in the positive way at least our guys were only silent commits and not public verbals...

Never any doubt about Zook's ability to recruit...just to coach. Butch Davis however has proven he can do both. I think you will see UNC back to the top of the ACC long before you will see Illinois climbing out of the B10 cellar.
