Sources: Green Bay Packers trading Davante Adams to Las Vegas Raiders

It turns out Aaron Rodgers' return to the Green Bay Packers didn't mean the same thing for Davante Adams. Just days after Rodgers signed his blockbuster contract extension to return, Adams, his favorite target, left town in a trade with the Las Vegas Raiders, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Thursday.

The Raiders are sending the Packers their first-round pick (No. 22 overall) and second-round pick (No. 53) in this year's draft, sources told Schefter. That gives the Packers four picks in the top 60; they also own picks Nos. 28 and 59.

Just like most players, he hopes to put up good numbers for 4 additional years and sign for "big bucks" when his rookie contract expires. At least with Rodgers/Packers he is on a contender for the playoffs and with Davante Adams and Marquez Valdes-Scantling both gone he has a real good opportunity for significant playing time. I wouldn't say "poor Chris", I think he would be a "good fit" with the Packers.

Favre is in some legal troubles. Long story short, he was involved in funneling $5 mill in taxpayer money away from its intended purpose (welfare) so his daughter’s college could build a new volleyball court (this happened while she was there, playing volleyball).
