There is alot of great axe men out there in the world of metal, thrash, and whatever music the indivdual prefers. Dime (RIP) is passed to metal heaven with Jimi, Randy and the others that I didn't mention. Everybody has a type of music they love. To follow the discussion of the thread title Greatest Dead Rock Stars, Eddie, Satriani, Vai and Kerry King are IMO are in the top five of metal gods on the axe, but they are still alive. The best ever is Randy Rhoads hands down, he paved the way for Eddie, Satriani, Vai, Dime, Alex Skolnick and Kerry King, Kirk Hammet, shit can not forget Dave Mustaine.

You know it's funny, because you can pretty much guess i'm biased towards dime ..At the same time when you go throwing around names of guys so good it doesn't even matter..It's amazing how good some people can be at something that a comparison isn't needed..They all had their own style and it was so amazing that you can watch video after video and say this guy is the best...no wait it's this guy instead...Very cool indeed..Just amazing talent.
