So, in GTAO you can lock out all but your crew and not have assholes try and jack you? My son was playing it over the weekend and only he and his cousin were running around and no other players were in their world. If that is the case, I might try it out as I never liked MMOs due to the "hackers" who make it hell on everyone else trying to play the game.

You can have private sessions/sessions with your crew/friends as well. Also, any missions you do can be with friends and/or crew only.

My character is still lost in the cloud. It shows my correct amount of money earned/money spent, as well as total cash. On one page of social club it shows my correct RP, but on another it shows my stats as being reset. I'll just wait it out until there is an official word from Rockstar as to what to do.

I read that if you try to join a session online and it doesn't connect, then gives you the option to click "X" (xbox) to try to reconnect, that you should NOT do this, as it may be a source for random character deletion.

I was finally able to play online last night for a bit and had a blast with some other buddies of mine. We did the Top Gun II job quite a bit which is fun. Half the players in sports cars rushing to get to a bridge on the other side of the map while the other half are hunting them down in fighter jets shooting missiles at them lol.

holy shit I need to do this mission.

I finally stole a fighter jet and just laughed my ass off while bombing cops who for some reason set up road blocks to stop me. My wife wasn't as amused as I was.

It's a blast. We found that the sports cars were fast enough to avoid a missile if it was targetted as a red/yellow lock on but if the jet had you locked on in the green (meaning his aim was RIGHT on you) you were dead to rights. However, if you hit something or stop/slow down with a jet aiming at you you're getting blown all to hell and it's hilarious watching it happen.

By the last game, we also found that the team of runners in the cars could actually drive to the airport and hop in jets of their own. A buddy of mine tried this in silence and without those of us flying jets even knowing it, he was shooting us down in his own jet - turned into quite a dog fight there for a minute once we realized what was happening lol

Have finally been able to get online & do some missions over the last couple days. Definitely fun & look forward to playing with people I know lol. Anyone (PS3) going to be on around midnight?

if I can stay up that late. for some stupid ass reason I watched the whole Raider game last night so I'm dragging ass today.
