Anyone getting on (360) tonight?

I did one of the harder missions solo earlier. I somehow passed it, but it took about 30 mins to get $9,000.

You can steal cars and take them to Simeon for money, but beware of people camping on his spot. I did my first one earlier, and I was returning the car to Simeon to get paid for it. I noticed two white dots in the area as I was going in, so I was on alert. When I came from the load screen, I noticed the dots starting to move, so I ran behind an obstruction as fast as I could. One car came flying up, trying to shoot me from the window. I was quick, and pulled out my gun and killed him. I then got into my phone and deposited the $7,300 into my account. One second after exiting the phone browser the other car pulled up and killed me.

So, in short, beware of assholes and use the mobile for depositing money.

Also, for whatever reason, my shooting skill is shown as being extremely low. I promise I'm not that bad at shooting :lol:

I was finally able to get on tonight. Just finished the tutorial (I think).


I love going into Passive mode...following other online players, and since you cant shoot/be shot....I love following them and just flicking them off. Then if they get out of their car, I run them over and take their cash

:lol:

Edit: I should have specified that I was only doing the above to the obnoxious/annoying players

Unfortunately, I won't be able to play again until Sunday night since my parents are in town

That is correct about the 1st part. I got destroyed once.

Was also fun driving around, seeing 10 cop cars and a helicopter circling a convenient store. I just walked right through the front door, and to the back. There are two guys that robbed the place. So I watched for a few minutes. Pretty funny.

I can see online play being a TON of fun with a group together

What are the odds that of the two people I was nice to (I landed to fly you to the airport to get your own helicopter), one ended up being a BPer? Because, ah, before that I was mostly trying to fly low enough to kill people with my rotors...

My gamertag is Bryant. As Jo said, just send me a quick message through XBL if you send a friend request. I don't know if it's because my GT is a simple name, or if people assume I'm Kobe -- either way, I suffer a constant flow of friend requests (7 today).

I haven't played GTAO in a day or two, but hope to feel well enough to poke around in there over the next few days.

I knew to be cautious of the low flying helicopter. Thanks for the attempted ride, though! I figured out the reason for everyone disappearing was a connection issue with my XBox.

Whenever I go to the airport there aren't any helicopters, but I've found that there are usually two on top of the hospital every single time. I stole a fighter jet last night but ran into something while trying to escape, which blew up the motor about 2 minutes later.

I randomly ended up in a world with another member of the crew (Skywalker?) but I didn't have my headset around and couldn't talk. I landed my chopper by their car and we had a 5 second stare down before they drove off :lol:

got my headset last night but fell asleep early.

We should get a group together, have one guy go passive mode and just walk towards a place where people are camping. everybody else will keep their distance with sniper rifles. Then pick them off when they come to investigate the passive guy.

I'm hoping to finally get a chance to sit down and play this weekend. My girlfriends younger brother has been staying with us all week and he's been on it all day and night...bastard. What chances I did have to play online it wouldn't load for me unfortunately.
