Grammar 101 - Needlessly Pedantic Grammar Pet Peeves (merged)

Oh, thanks for the merge, oh moderator overlords.

Do the moderators have such a poor grasp of English that they believe that self-recognized pedantry and grammar lessons are equivalent? Apparently, this is the case. We live in a sad state here in BuckeyePlanet.

(Edit: Ah hell, when I wrote that Peach hadn't posted yet. Um, hey Peach, that wasn't directed at you. . . it was directed at the overlords, you know, the other people. So I heard you are a ninja, pretty cool. Funny how mods are, amiright? No worries, eh? Please don't kill me.)

A couple I encounter at work all the time:

It's supposedly, not supposively.

And it's not "I seen this thing or that" -- you saw it.

I was irked by this today and came to post. :(

"I seen it yesterday."

"I SAW it yesterday", numbnuts, or "I have seen it." how freaking hard is that!?
