Good stories about what the kids did recently / parental bragging

Everyone,

Back from Children's Hospital. I have great news. Ali has been cleared by the cardiologist to participate in all sports again. Apparently her fair complexion has an effect on her veins/blood pressure/pulse. She just needs to stay hydrated and eat more salty foods to keep her blood pressure up. Expensive great news. but great news none the less.

Thanks a million for the well wishes and prayers.

Scooter

I am so happy to hear that Scooter!! Tell Trish I said to take a deep breath, she's probably been holding it in for several days, right??

Since the Dr.'s orders are salty foods and hydration, tell your girls to scratch DQ, we're going to the movies. They can have all the gatorade they can drink and eat as much popcorn with movie theatre butter and extra salt. After a couple of matinee's, her blood pressure will be right up there!! (Just Kidding about the BP, Scoot)

My birthday is this coming Sunday the 17th, and to my astonishment, I found out that my children have went to different neighbors and some of my friends' houses. They offered their cleaning services for $0.50 an hour each so they could purchase me a red velvety OSU purse that I have been wanting that costs $20.00, and a matching wallet that costs $10.00. The act of love and selflessness that my children showed by doing that made my heart burst with pride. :)

All they had to do was call your sugar daddy. I would have given them the money. :wink2:

Parental Bragging Thread

I could have sworn we had one of these before, but I searched back five years and couldn't find it.

Anyhoo, Many of you know my 12 year old is a 2nd degree black belt. Well as of today, my 8 year is also a black belt. She passed her testing Wednesday night.

Both are assistant instructors at their school, the youngest concentrates on helping with 4-5 year olds.
