Ginn Sr/MI HS Coaches: Tired of Lloyd

This from their rivals board. Guess they have a different take on it:

Sure, UM may have some problems getting Glenville players, but does it really matter?

If it is about the Pierre Woods thing, then don't you think that is a little petty? Certainly I would not want any dealings with someone who thinks he can be a puppetmaster like Grand Master Flash thinks he is doing.

By the way, not all Glenville players work out. Ask smiling testicle fan how Dareus Hiley worked out. Obvoiusly, Superman's kryptnite was academics. How about Freddie Lenix. I sure we all waiting with beaded breath for him to finally become eligible. Two wasted schollies. In an age where schollies are reduced, not a trend St. Tressel would want to have continue.

UM has done quite well in recruiting without having to deal with Rob Base and DJ Ez Rock.

If OSU wants to continue its up and down success with Houdini and his players, then let him go. By the way, anyone notice that the song "Freaks come out at night" rings true with some OSU players and their off the field issues?

I love Buckeye myopia. It breeds ignorance LOL

A coach sends most of his best players to Ohio State, is constantly speculated to be selected as an assistant coach at Ohio State, has his son on Ohio State's team, and people think it's a big deal when Ohio State's biggest rival doesn't want to spend a lot of effort recruiting his team? I don't get it.

Anyway, you guys have fun bashing Carr.

Now credit where credit is due most of the rodent faithful have been pretty sanguine about this - lots of other Ohio programs they can go to for help shoring up sCUM's home-state deficiencies in recruiting, lost cause (as in Glenville and Tressel are tight) -- but there always has to be one doofus (or two).

Ginn Sr is the first coach who I have heard that "sends" his kids places. Most other coaches help get his kids recruited and help them in the decision making process. When Ginn Sr "sends" his kids to OSU, does he do it at gun point?

You remember the story about him driving kids (some of them not from Glenville) to football camps all summer, I bet he kidnapped them and wouldn't let them go home until they committed to tOSU.

Typical Michigan viewpoint. Glenville has probably the best team in Ohio this year and cranks out solid talent year after year (Smith, Whitner, Ginn) including one for Michigan (Woods) who was all-conference last year. But now you think it's no big deal that to tether between Michigan and Glenville has essentially been severed. Any time a major program no longer has connection with such a talent-laden high school it significantly diminishes their recruiting options.

By the way, it's a blast bashing Carr because he's fucking moron, a whiner, and a total loser.

Make no mistake, we do not want Ted Ginn Sr. as an assistant coach at OSU. He's a fine man and a great coach, but he is far more important to these young kids as a high school mentor than he can ever be as a college assistant. Some people are just born to be high school coaches -- Ted Ginn Sr. is one of them. Besides ... we want to keep the pipeline to Glenville open.

Don't you worry. We will.

You're twisting my words. Do I think it's a good thing that relations between Michigan and Glenville have soured? Of course not. However, judging from recruiting in the last three years, our efforts are better served elsewhere.

As for Carr, I'd rather not discuss him here due to the mass of vitriol in this thread.

"Manningham4heisman" was doing okay until he misspelled "Whodini." His Five Minutes of Funk are OVER!

This has probably been said many times before, but I will be shocked if Lloyd's around this time next year. They've got another loss coming to them this weekend and of course another in late November.
as I said a few posts above yours, the AD is still 100% behind Carr. He is asking people to look at the track record of Carr when judging his performance. That is an excellent stance for us buckeyes who love his losing ways.
