Ginn Sr/MI HS Coaches: Tired of Lloyd

I put on the Tyvek suit and Chemical Weapons protection gear and posted the question to Stadium and Main as to what they think in the enemy campon this.
Thus far there isn't that much in the way of constructive discussion. Perhaps that will change in time.

I don't know how much this effects how many Glenville players go there, but it can't help to have a coach as well respected as Ted Ginn mad at you. There's a good possibility that this could alienate most of the Cleveland area, and that would seriously hurt M*******'s recruiting. I don't like to see them get Ohio kids that we want, but I also don't want to see them weakened by idiocy either. It's really not any fun if your rival sucks year in and year out.

True. But let's be honest here, the established national powers will never go away, tradition makes that certain. Sometimes they'll resurge after two years, sometimes it even takes ten, but teams like Oklahoma, Nebraska, Ohio State, Penn State, Alabama, USC and even mighty ole Notre Dame have bumbled between national champion to downright abysmal all in the last 15-20 years. Everyone except Michigan has a losing season sometime.

It'd be nice for Michigan to have just one or two trainwreck seasons in my lifetime. Screw 'em. Let them wallow in mediocrity for a few years to humble their damn fans. It won't do any permanent damage to the university, the team, or the significance of the rivalry.

It's been a few years since they have grabbed any great players from Glenville, and they seemed to have done pretty well. Even during a down year, they are catching the eye of players like Jamar Hornsby. So the sky isn't falling in AA either.

Plus, the AD has vehemently expressed that he stands behind carr 100%, and that the fans can stop sending him fire carr url's.
