Imagine Jordan Davis gets the flu or Covid and can't play the CFP. What would people give Georgias chances of winning it all then?
After watching a couple games I am positive that he's the linchpin for them to win it. If he's out, they are still good but that Defense starts to show vulnerabilities. Davis totally eliminates plans for opponents that take time to drop back or try to run right at them. TTUN will hate trying to run against UGA, as does anyone else at the moment. Passing quality could cause problems but Davis needs double teamed and it opens other players to make plays. Jordan Davis is the national title for UGA this year. Thank God he's a senior.

Even without Davis, the other CFP teams(assuming UGA beats Bama in SECCG) don’t have a chance against UGA. This will be the most obnoxious and suspect year for CFB. I can easily see ScUM playing UGA in the NC and then UGA mollywhopping scUm. ScUM literally plays the perfect brand of football for UGA to stop. They have a statue QB and try and outmuscle teams. This will be like a game from the 1980s with run oriented offenses and strong defenses. UGA will win the weakest field for a title and fans of every other team in the conference for another goddamn year can yell “SEC” for yet another year. But even worse, scUM can act like their rulers of the world until The Game in 2022.
But if UC were to find a way to beat scUM they’d be as insufferable and claim to be the best in OHio all year. And then get mollywhopped by UGA
