Georgia Bulldogs (2021-2022 National Champions)

Nutria is Thanksgiving at your house this year or you hitting the road for family?

If at your house, give us a preview of your menu. Best cook on BP imo

not sure on the where yet as all of us in family are still dealing with Hurricane repairs.

i’m going to boil a turkey (like seafood), until it’s about 3/4 cooked.
then debone it and cut into chunks.
and then do a Turkey and Sausage gumbo
with the bird.
using the boil water as my stock.

Older Sister will be cooking some fresh green beans and field peas as a side.
Younger sister likely baking a ham and making a rice dressing.

was hoping for a good hard cold front to push through so we could also do an Alligator and Oyster (colder the better for good Oysters) pastalaya, but doesn’t look like that’s happening yet.

change of plans.
instead of the gumbo, i’ll probably be smothering some pork chops in an onion gravy.
my older sister is making a rice dressing
younger sister fixing some fresh green beans and field peas.
mom is going to bake a ham.

I've done stuffed smothered pork chops(apples, sage and spinach mixture) before with onion gravy.
Enjoy your Thanksgiving menu!
