Everybody is somebody else's weirdo.
I guess that might be good to know if you ever end up in Thai prison......

Big people move little people.
Not exactly sure why the shift in OL recruiting as of late. Dawgs have always been above average in size and talent in this area but they just continue to focus on getting bigger and bigger
To be fair, 2 of them were 6’6” shrimps that they’ll have to hope work out at guardIsn't it not as much of a positive to get OL this tall, like over 6'7? Due to it harder to get lower in leverage
But isn't that too tall to play IOL, due to also not being able to get leverage against even shorter DTs?To be fair, 2 of them were 6’6” shrimps that they’ll have to hope work out at guard
I would have thought that referring to guys that are six and a half feet tall as “shrimps” might have been taken as a hint that I wasn’t entirely seriousBut isn't that too tall to play IOL, due to also not being able to get leverage against even shorter DTs?
Good point actually. To be fair, 2 of them were 6’6” shrimps that they’ll have to hope work out at guard
Aaron Gibson from Wisconsin?I would have thought that referring to guys that are six and a half feet tall as “shrimps” might have been taken as a hint that I wasn’t entirely serious
But, since you asked; yes, there is a reason that you never see 6’6” guards. Further, I don’t remember ever seeing a 6’11” OL, not even at tackle. It will be interesting to see if he works out
In response to my post in which I wondered "aloud" if there had ever been a successful 6'11" OLRight. It's that not the point we were making? Oops
