Throw in the rest of the SEC while you are at it.

You first sir. Columbus is a helluva lot bigger than Athens, Tuscaloosa, Gainesville, Columbia, Knoxville, or Baton Rouge.

If you think these incidents of agent contact happen only in warmer climates - I believe you're going to be disappointed.

I call shenanigans.

We are all quite aware that warmer climates produce more speed. More speed produces more opportunity for agent contact.

For example, Northern Agent meets with scholar athlete in 20 minutes, before moving on to second scholar athlete for another 20 minute meeting and then a third for another 20 minutes. Simple math - 3 meetings in an hour.

BUT...

SEC speedy agent meets with athlete 1 in 10 minutes, goes on to 2 in 10 minutes, 3 in another 10... 3 athletes in half an hour.

Obviously - given an hour - the southern agent will meet with 6 athletes whereas a northern agent can only meet with 3.

Duh.

Your logic is flawed - the agent doesn't have the speed, his client does. And since most of these hot shot agents come from NYC or upper midwest, their speed is wholly in question.

Nonsense.

As soon as they cross the mason dixon line, no matter where they're from, they're faster. ESPN said so.

Just think of athletes and agents as particles, and apply the Brownian Motion model. The motion of the particles (velocity) is directly proportional to the temperature. The number of particle collisions is therefore also directly proportional to the temperature. It's easy to see why there are more player-agent interactions in the SEC and at USC. You can't argue with physics.

Using the same principles - bowl game scheduled in the midwest/northeast would slow the particles down and lead to slower, plodding games with less motion?

So it follows that if the SEC ever expands, their speed advantage will decrease!

Duh.

Not to mention that southern (SEC) money moves a lot faster than northern money. It moves much quicker from the agent

to the players hand.
