hey everyone, I have a general question for XBox Live users.

I've never used XBL, because the Internet line is downstairs and it would be difficult to run it up to my 360.

However, my friend has it, and this is where my question comes in. If I were to take my HD over to his place and put it on his 360, would I be able to still login to XBL and then download content (such as new Rock Band songs) onto my hard drive without any problems?

One potential easy solution would be to get a wireless router and an Xbox 360 wireless networking adapter.

It sounds like that should work. Your worse case scenario would be that you might need to take your entire 360 system to his house, but I'd think the hard drive thing should work.

They still seem expensive to me. I would have thought you would be able to get them for around $50 or so by now, especially since the PS3 and Wii are both wireless out of the box.

True, but Microsoft is run by a bunch of cock suckers. The fact that there are pre-made slots on the back of the 360 to attach a wireless adapter is enough to prove my point :p

Well, I still haven't bought the adapter, so it looks like I'll just go this route for now. Thanks for letting me know.
