utmost respect

to anyone who will listen: Texas fans, in general, know and respect the tradition of the buckeyes. This won't ever turn into a heated rivalry because we don't play each other enough. There are so many similarities between these two teams and their history. I couldn't dream of a better matchup. I'm just looking forward to seeing the best game of the year. good luck.

Agreed entirely. The moment the game is over, I'm pulling for Texas for the rest of the season. Obviously it helps each of us if the other does well, but beyond that, (and I mean this as a compliment, lol) I think we're very similar fanbases.

Been looking forward to this game for a few years, it's a little odd that it's today.

So I was on my way home from school just now, and I got to thinking...

Since certain Texas fans are so fond of referring to us as 'Swing state Aggy,' perhaps we should find a cheerful backhanded reply--only for those who are being trolls, of course.

And so I cordially submit the following alternatives:

1. Pepper Weasels
2. Mexi-Weasels.
3. scUM Taco
4. Horn-i-weasels

5 (if all else fails) Tasty Cow. :)

This is a free country so you're free to do as you wish. Adrian Peterson said he won't do the Horns down because it's "disrespectful." (I gained a lot of respect for him for that) Personally, I'd rather cheer for my team than put down another.

Isn't Adrain Peterson from Texas? He's Probally a Longhorn at heart but just went to OK becuase it is a better football school.

How soon before May is gone? He doesn't add anything to that show. Unless he's making minimum wage , why keep him? The "chemistry" what there was of it is completely gone!

Have you ever seen the animal traps where they put something shiny inside and the animal is caught because it refuses to let go of the shiny thing? May's "shiny thing" is that he thinks he's now the star at ESPiN. The true way to expose someone who is ignorant is to let him speak. His buffoonery will result in pushing himself out the door.

I'd say, he might last the season but maybe not.

Honestly? Yes. Flame me all you want, but I do think that Vince is a better passer then he gets credit for and although Ohio State is a great program, they do not have an NFL defense. Again, I am not about to claim that Vince will be a better NFL QB then Vick..that would be silly since he has never taken a snap in the pros (nor been drafted for that matter), but I do honestly think that he is a better college QB than Vick.
i am sitting here wondering if you can comprehend the difference between a 5-11 Falcons team in which Vick spent the majority of the season on the injured list, and a 12-4 Falcons team which made the NFC championship game the VERY NEXT SEASON when Vick was healthy... of course, Vick did not put gaudy passing numbers, however, if you pay ANY attention to the NFL, you would know that the Falcons were the #1 rushing team in the entire NFL last year, and Vick's 900+ yards definitely counted... also, he wasn't asked to throw the ball 40 times per game... BTW, ask Peyton Manning how much good his 239578329574952 TD passes helped him against the Pats, when they only used 2 down linemen and dropped 8 into coverage every play... for some reason, his dumb ass couldn't figure out that handing the ball off when the other team us basically letting you run, was a good idea...

what i don't understand is why you, a Horn fan would go around trashing Vick, when you have essentially a bigger Vick clone running your team right now...

another thing, Vick won his rivalry game and made the BCS title game as a redshirt SOPHOMORE... less experience, yet better results than VY... go figure...

please do us all a favor and get the fuck out of here until you figure out how to remove your head from your ass...

I think that we respect Texas and its fans very much. I know that Texas fans will respect Ohio State football a lot more on Sunday morning.
