Let's be reasonable

No Benson. No Johnson. No receivers.
I predict a win. 31-10.
Selvin Young(who was taking snaps away from Cedric two years ago), one of the best receiving tight end's in the country, one of the best, and deepest D-line's in the country and one of the best secondary's in the country. Oh, and Aaron Harris, who should make about 15 tackles in this game. I'll give you the young, unproven wide receivers.
If we don't let Ginn hurt us in the return game, I say the final is Texas 20 Ohio St 16.

See you at the Tailgate
I hope Horns Fans are welcome

I can understand you being excited about Selvin, but you're crazy if you think you just replace 1800 yards without feeling it.

Not sure how great your secondary is. The Big XII has produced no NFL calibur QB's as long as I can remember.

Don't forget about Ramonce Bush and Reggie Taylor. Isn't Nobody Charles faster than Ted Ginn also?

Guys, guys, guys!

#1 - The Big 12 is a very overrated conference. They have terrible bowl records in the last 5 years across the board. Their inter-conference competition in the minds of Big 12 fans is second to none. We all know this is incredibly misguided. Their level of play in the Alamo? They looked a tad shell-shocked. Need I mention UT - Texas A&M and of course big tough Bobby Stoops making excuses down in Miami. Texas Tech was the lone bright spot.
#2 - Oklahoma is Texas' big game. I live down here and all the UT fans are talking about is how they can catch Chokelahoma on a down year. (They are truly looking past us.)
#3 - Vince Young is a tool. Michigan gave up in the Rose. It was a defensive pillow fight. Whoever had the ball last was going to win. Vince Young will never win the big game for Texas.
#4 - Mack Brown is the John Cooper of the Big 12. Undisputable.
#5 - Texas just sucks. Period. Their logo looks like a uterus.

Cajunbuck predicts a total shutdown / beatdown of the Longhorns in September. I will put every vbuck I have on it. Total line domination, skill position thrashing, quarterback clinic monster of an ass-whoopin. We are going to the Rose bowl next year! I truly feel that way deep down. We are gonna win another title next year.

Who is with me?
I think you got some bad gator in your jambalaya dude. Either that or you're off the meds again. This should be a great, down-to-the-wire game between two great teams.

Presuming that GameDay is in Columbus on the 10th, I've got 25 vCash that McConaughey is on the set during the pregame. McConaughey and Herbstreit have been palling around since Herbie became a regular on the sidelines of the Cotton Bowl. At least back when Ian Fitzsimmons was doing the show with Herbstreit on 1460, McConaughey seemed to be on as often as Herbie was.

i worked at Mandalay for four years... first at Rock Lobster, then at rumjungle... i'm in the service industry, so no real experience in gaming or the Book... but i probably spent as much time in the Book as i did at work... Papa Joe Chervaliet (or however you spell it) used to do his radio show from the Book, and i'd chat him up during commercials... i hung out with this dude Henry, who was a runner for some big time guy in Chicago... dude lived on the top floor of Mandalay, and all he did was bet on football... i remember one Monday night we were sitting there BSing, and he just said, "i don't like that line, i'm gonna change it." so up he goes and drops $25 Gs on the Raiders... then he came back, and we watched the line drop from 7 to 6.5 points... naturally, the Raiders won by 7... crazy... as for setting the lines specific to certain fan bases, i'm not sure, but it wouldn't surprise me... personally, i don't bet on my team... but when Ohio State played Miami in the Fiesta Bowl, the lines opened at Miami -13.5, and then after Christmas, once all the Buckeye fans started showing up, the lines dropped two or even three points in some places, which is just INSANE... i mean, it takes a TREMENDOUS amount of money on one side to get a line to drop three points...

as for tipping, Tiger is a shitty tipper... Jordan is a shitty tipper... Barkley tips like a maniac... Drew Carey tips like crazy too... i was there when he threw a cocktail waitress $10,000 one night... i got wasted with Dennis Rodman at the House of Blues one night... i drank a bottle of Patron with the Bare Naked Ladies, bought Cuba Gooding Junior so many shots he fell off his bar stool, talked hockey with Mike Myers, you name it...
i got a lot of stories...

i love Mandaly Bay...
and the addition of the hotel is quite nice, is that Mandalay owned? I was out there last summer at Mooray(sp?), you cannot beat a topless pool, in Vegas, you can almost hear the plastic burning like you put in a microwave. we were out there before the word had gotten around on Mooray, and had a connection to get one of the larger daybeds, sat next to Vince Neil and one of his stripper girls. He was fairly rude to the H-O-T waitstaff, and one of the cocktail waitresses said loudly to another waitress as she walked away, "He doesn't have to be pissed off at me because he has a tiny infected prick, maybe he should call a doctor besides Dr. Feelgood to have that shit looked at." Great stuff.

The stories about Jordan in Vegas are insane and numerous. I swear that there is a huge cover up with that guy in that city to keep him as a customer.

Have had some great times at rumjungle and I used to think that the pool at Mandalay was the best there was, but it has been somewhat of a let down lately. I spend too much money and not enough time in that damn city.

Whats the word on the 800 pound tailback (OK, 270)? I've heard he's looked impressive, and is be better than Young?
he will probably be used this year for short yardage, I don't think that they will be using him every down, so look for Young to be the starter, spelled by Charles, and Melton on short yardage to being with.
