You beat me to it BuckeyeNation... Skip Bayless might very well be the most worthless person on television. That includes every crackpot conspiracy theorist and crazy dillusional "film-maker" on cable access around the U.S. To take stock that you're going to win because Skip Bayless said it only gives ME confidence that we'll win because Skip Bayless can't be right.
If you really hate Skippy, head over to the Road From Bristol and read some of the brilliant comments like:

"He's like the mean drunken family member who tells all of the family secrets just to make himself feel better. Except the drunk is more logical." -- Buzz

"He just seems to be the sourest human being I have ever read. In fact, my hate for his continued existence as a human being may turn me into someone that is just as bad as he is." -- Chris

"He is the poster-boy for everything wrong with info-tainment." -- "Pantsless" Joe

Hysterical site, though it's going to be tough with the inevitable final between Screamin' A Smith and Skip Bayless.

Buckeye fans should be ashamed that they'd actually support the vote of confidence from the very same shitbag that began dropping "Ohio State Luckeyes" then later "Suckeyes" on-air during the 2002 season. My hatred for Bayless exceeds even that for Mike Lupica and Bob Ryan.

Steven A Smith is the only person that parallels Bayless, and might even warrant the lead since ESPN fired one of their few worthwhile personalities, David Aldridge, when they brought Steven A in.

umm... Rome does have his own show... it's called 'Rome is Burning,' and it airs at 4:30 ET...

Skip is on Cold Pizza with Woody Paige...

i want to kick Skip down the stairs, and although Woody ain't the brigtest bulb on the string, i am amused by him...

Skip Gayness has been guest-hosting for Rome though.

And as far as I'm concerned, M*ch*g*n is #2... A big, steaming pile of it.

If I just want to park a regular car, what does it take to get a spot at the stadium? Do I need a parking pass? What time should I get there?
AT the stadium? You'd need to give a sizeable donation... say, a new international airport. Mind you, we could use a new international airport.

I felt it was applicable to add this to the texas thread (I made this a while ago for the graphic forum):

I like them both to continually make ass's out of themselves. Skip went to Vanderbilt, and Woody is a product of Tenn.

LOL, Comon Woody, keep acting dumb, represent that "great" SEC learning!

I can't post the letter(its from a pay site) but from the practice report that I recieved yesterday Texas is doing something that I have never heard of. We are deliberatly holding players out of practice so that the team will know what to do if key members go down with injury. They are also doing the standard thing of crosstraining players at different possisions. Mack said that he wants the team to understand that if Vince or Wright or Huff or anyone else goes down for the season that they are still expected to win. Have yall ever heard of anyone doing this?

On paper it sounds like a decent idea, but I really don't think you can beat us without Vince. Maybe you have a shot without one of your DBs, if your lines are dominant... But without Vince your offense becomes much easier to stop than Michigan's.

We aren' preping to beat tosu without vince, just to not pack it in without him. I was just curious if yall had ever heard of this type of thing. It is new to me.

Ok well I guess I can post this its from www.mackbrown-texasfootball.com

On holding players out of practice: We held Selvin out of practice this morning for no reason other than to make sure he gets some rest. He is working on the rehab of coming back. So, we are trying to make sure that our guys remember that this game is about more than one or two guys. It is about the whole team, and they should not be in shock if the whole team can't all play one day.

We held Matt Nordgren out this morning to get Colt McCoy some more work with the second team, and Colt did well. We also wanted to make sure that Matt doesn't have a recurrence of soreness in his shoulder. So far he has not had any soreness, but we don't want to be foolish with him.

We are going to hold Vince Young out of practice one day and make sure that the team understands that if Vince isn't playing, we still have to move forward and win the game. We try to make sure that we have two people who can call plays. If something was to happen and a coach had to miss a game, we would not be without. So we are trying to prepare for any negative thing that could come up.
