ohio high football vs. texas high football
here is an interesting way to view the upcoming texas vs. ohio state game.
texas has 14 kids on the entire roster that arent from texas. while ohio state has 24 kids on the roster that arent from ohio. now 24 may seem like a big number but most of these are young kids or practice squad players that wont be a factor in the game.
im tired of hearing things like, "we grow them bigger in texas" and such like that.
can this game be thought of as ohio high school football against texas high school football?im aware that tyler e. lee plays colerain but i found this to be interesting.

How about "Texas has twice as many people as Ohio" is that better? I don't know of any intelligent people that use another reason for Texas having a higher percentage of instaters...IIRC, the number of HS athletes goes as follows: Cali, Texas, Florida, Ohio, Illinois, PA...I remember seeing these numbers a couple of years ago, but I imagine they are still close.scarletngrey77 said:

Oh, and Colerain v. Lee is the night before OSU v. UT IIRC...should be a helluva game at Crew stadium, any Texans up here early should check it out...its only a couple of miles from the OSU campus and pretty easy to get to
