Didn't Guess... Figured there was some lame "That's how we do it down here in Texas, you wouldn't understand" type answer.. you know... kind of like "Its a Cane Thang" :wink2:

I actuality... I don't think I gave the pic a second look until someone else asked....

Definitely not. They are the most bandwagon-esque of all fans too, as their stands will drop down to half full if they lose a couple of games.

I agree that the true scum is Miami, and trashing them should be first on any trash list (followed soon after by Bobby Bowden). But High Lonesome was accepted by a bunch of people on this board for trashing Michigan.

Speaking of which, I logged onto a Texas site (Burnt Orange something-or-other), to see what they were saying. I haven't posted, because it was all "Ohio State pays their players," etc. But there was some guy who appeared to be a Michigan fan. He was getting ragged-on pretty good. Awesome.

I agree, while i did find the mich fans to be a little limp wristed I could tell that they had a respect for the game and its history(which they are very quick to point to)

Miami is the "scum" of college football in my oppinion. There are other teams that i dont like but miami takes the cake, I would throw arkansas in there too. actually you can put them at the top of any list having to do with scum of anything.

The funny thing is that Texas takes critisism, the same way that mich. does from buck fan, all the time whether its aggy calling us tea sippers, or people saying that we have a "go and be seen croud" I will admit that people tend to dress up at texas games but not for the chance to mingle with "it" crowd or pretend we are high society or something. I just think that texas fans think that a football game is a special occasion worthy of looking nice for. It has been said many times that football is a religion in texas so i guess you could call the outfits our "saturdays best" just showing our respect to the game.

This is so true, if by history you are pointing to a time when ArchDuke Ferdinand would have been able to attend...
