My point in bringing up Mack's record was to point out the previous poster who said "Mack's only won 2 games against ranked opponent" as an example of the lack of familiarity with Texas on this board.

You're the moderator and you're flaming me is hardly setting the example you want us visiting fans to follow.

The point of my post was that this is an Ohio State message board. We aren't here to appease the Texas fans.

That said, you are severely misinformed about the view of Texas on this site. picking out one poster who I've never even seen before and using his single post as an example of how all people on this board act is more than foolish, it's insulting. There are 250 pages of this thread, and I highly doubt you have followed along with it if that is your true view of the posters on this site.

There have definitely been others. Every day I just click on my favorite and read the last few pages posted (and I realize many more pages are being posted each day) and invariably there's always someone like this poster posting here. I just pointed him out because it happened so quickly after your original response. Sounds like the minority are sticking out much more to me than the majority.

Tell me what Texas site you post on and I'll be back here in 5 minutes with a report on every single fan on that site, including you. I have no doubt those boards will be 10 times worse than this one.

This is the best website for OSU discussion, general football discussion, and fan tolerance. If some child wants to get on here and flame Texas, we can't stop it. But in no way is that indicative of the website as a whole.

That's the way I heard it. I think you also have the choice of choosing which direction you want to go, though. That fits in there, somewhere.

I'd choose to get the ball first in the second half. Theoretically, you have a slight advantage in the second half (you basically get the ball at least as much as the other team does). If you can play toe-to-toe with them through the first half, you're in good shape. On the other side, if you're kicking off to begin the second half, and its a close game, the pressure is on your defense.

It is not currently in HD. The listing on the website was incorrect, and has since been corrected (removing the "hdtv" notation).

As to what is broadcast in HD - everything I watch except for college football, it seems. All primetime stuff, mlb, and pro football I see is in hd, as well as all the hbo, pbs, and discovery stuff I watch (except for discovery science).

It figures the one damn thing I want in HD isn't broadcast. Asshats.
