I've stayed there and walked it fine (and got out of town a lot sooner than most people)... but as many have pointed out, the years are catching up with you
at Gordon Biersch a few weeks back and he was trying to get me to enter a Triatholon with him. He's done it before at least once I know of. You pussies are bitchin about a 2mile walk...fuckin Mili would have no problem but that's a moot point b/c his ass is going be partying with me. HAYN is Mili's official tourguide for Texas Weekend! Suckers! We're gonna party like fuckin rockstars!!!

OH I see he's already replied to you whimps! He is entering his third Triatholon!

Mili, that's right across from the cemetery and the Kohl's is right behind it. There are restaurants nearby and it's a basically flat walk. You'll probably get back to your hotel before most people get out of the parking areas.

Rather just walk it. And good luck in the triathlon!

The walk to the shoe is not a bad walk if the weather is good but the taxi is also reasonable. I have come from the German Village for $10:00, Downtown for about $8:00 and from Days Inn at the fair grounds for less than $5:00 and the meters do not run while you are stopped. There may be a little waite after the game, but not before ( the waite is much shorter if you are drinking beer).
If I would happen to run into you I would be happy to buy a few.
By the way do you have tickets already?

i parked over in the parking lot well past the JN museum for the washington game. it was a long walk but i was 21 so i didnt care. my dad has back problems and we had to stop a couple times. the only problem was being bored going back and forth between the car to conrads and back to the car and to get some food and back to the car.

i have no idea why we picked that spot because we got there at 4 or 5.

The Super8 is a hell of a bargain for games and OSU visits. Beyond that in the low to mid-range the Fairfield isn't bad.

Personally, I prefer the Blackwell if I can get reservations.
Costly, but good -- no make that very good.

last year when i would make the trip out i stayed at a couple of crack houses.....literally. we came out of our room the next morning and the cops came by asking if we saw any traffic last night. we said yeah there was a little on the highway. thats not what he was talking about.

that was the last time i got to pick the hotel.
