Game Thread Game Two: Texas 25, Ohio State 22 (final)

Just made a reservation at the Super 8 on Olentangy River Rd. for the Texas game. Looking at a web-based map, it looks like it's about 2 miles north of The Shoe. Is it an OK walk to the stadium, or would it be better to catch a cab?

I would go for the park and ride, if you must cab it make sure that you call EARLY and let them know when to be there and pick you up. I wouldn't say it would be cheap, the meters run even if you are sitting still in traffic and you will be unless you are going down really early. Fuck, if Mili is going to show up for this I might have to give up my front row recliner and try and get tickets.

..if you are a cheap ass....there is a park and ride bus service from the parking lot about 1/8 of a mile south of you....catch the bus for free....

I have walked to the motel 8 more than once, its not that bad, it can be done.
I personally, a 22 year old used to walking, would not take a cab.
But you old farts may want to :)

Damn straight. If I can get a roundtrip for $500 or under, I'll be fucking estatic. Between plane fare, hotel, and tickets, I'll be dropping a grand minimum...

Mili - Walk it, its no big deal. Go at least 3 hours before game time because there IS going to be a party going on. You'll walk more down on campus than you did to get there. All in all, I've always thought its good they don't serve beer in the shoe, gives you that 3-1/2 breather between pre-game and post-game. You'll need it.
