I distinctly recall people posting that he played perfect and fantastic. Anyways, whatever happens, happens, and Tressel will be in control of that. Seriously, no need to attack me for questioning people. He had a good game and let's just leave it at that.

JZ did not set records today, but he performed well...the Krenzel comparison is very valid. Steady is the word that comes to mind.

This is why, IMO, JT will start JZ next week. Steadiness and consistency on the offensive side of the ball is nothing to complain about, not that anyone here has done that. The comparison to Krenzel is the same comparison that my son also mentioned today while we watched the game. I also think that TS will see some playing time next week and I am not implying that TS seeing playing time means the offense and/or JZ will be struggling.

JZ starts. Did you not see the fire in his eyes? Or maybe that was just those red contacts. Those were weird.

Nevertheless, I do believe JZ will start, but we are very fortunate that we have 2+ very able quarterbacks going into a huge game. Also, with him having such a good game I think it makes it a little harder for Texas to game plan. Are they preparing for JZ, TS or both? The fact they both have played their last games well just gives us more offensive options. When was the last time we could say that?

Zwick hit several of his receivers in stride, which is what impressed me most. Of course, there was the red zone mistake, but Troy has also made those in the past (Purdue). I honestly think Smith's our best option back there, but I am a bit worried about the rust factor--against UT we can't really afford a few turnovers or a quarter and a half for Smith to get back into game-playing mode. However, as has been said, JT's better at judging that than I could ever be, so let's leave it to him.

I am watching the Texas game and they are solid on both.
No offense, but keep in mind that they're pushing around La-Lafayette.

again yeah I think both Qb's can carry this team! There's only one thing though that I would like to point out. I think next week we'll see quite a bit more vertical shots on Texas' defense. With that being said I think Smith might have a better deep ball than Zwick. Zwick I think will start but I'd be shocked if Smith doesn't play the majority of the game. Once again my hat goes off to justin for his play today, and if he comes out and tears it up against michigan I think it'd be STUPID to mess up his rythem by putting in Smith.

GO BUCKS!

Playing UL Lafayette is not going to help them next week. In fact, Texas will have to make a speed adjustment or things could get out of hand ! But, having said that , I fully expect a defensive struggle next week!
