I am staying at that days inn for the Texas game also. It is not the nicest place I have stayed but I have stayed there a few times before just because it is a night game and I can do all my drinking after the game on Lane and on High street and it is only a few dollar taxi ride back to the motel.
There a no bars within safe walking distance from the days inn but since it is a night game the bars will be closed a few hours after the game anyway.
I normally stay at either the days inn or super 8 on the dublin granville road but the night game dictates the change.
Mili, if we run into each other at the days inn my two duddies and I will be glad to share the taxi ride with you.

Good to hear someone else here is staying there for the game. I appreciate the offer, and maybe we can pound a few before game time...

Why? Are there a bunch of goat-fuckin' Asspackinstani immigrants there? Sounds like you're familiar with the area...

All four places are fully booked...not one fucking room.

No, but there are a lot of blacks whom you like to call n******. Hopefully you'll try that on the east side.

Buckeye wife and I are flying into Columbus International on Friday to stay in Dublin for Texas game on Saturday. Plan to drive rental to game area on Saturday around noon. Can someone help with:

1. Suggest where we can park rental car around noon to 3 p.m. gameday, nearest to Ohio Stadium?

2. Suggest when we should get over to St John's for TBDBITL's pre-game show. We expect to stand in line for awhile.

This will be our first return to Ohio Stadium game since Nov. '57!

Any/all help would be appreciated.

Hmmm, I use the phrase, "if anyone deserves to be called a n!gger, it's Don King", in a thread a long time ago, and now I supposedly use it all the time. :roll1: Fuckin' ruby-head.

Just booked a room for 6 people for the AmeriSuites in Columbus (for Sat. night). Am I missing something with this hotel? This is where I stayed last year for the scUM game....i booked online and they didn't have the reservation, so I figured we were screwed. But they had plenty of rooms available. How is this possible?

BN27, You are probably at the Amerisuite in Worthington and if so the reason is probably because the are so many motels in the same complex that they never fill up. Also the Amerisuite is about double in price campared to the Super8, the Days Inn, Econolodge, Motel6 (just to mane a few) and they are all within walking distance of each other. Good area to stay though.

Thanks, that sounds about right. I don't mind the price (since I'm not paying for a room) and it's a very nice place.
