How dare you actually look up facts to support your statement!!!!!! :(
After this game, the nation will understand why Texas will have the No.1 defense in college next year.
And the streets will flow with the blood of the nonbelievers. After this game, the nation will understand why Texas will have the No.1 defense in college next year.
You do realize that Texas can win this game without completely shutting down Ohio State's offense right? I mean, that's basically what you're saying....that Texas will dominate what looks to be a great college offensive team and prove to everybody why their D is number one.UTMNC said:After this game, the nation will understand why Texas will have the No.1 defense in college next year.

A lot of you Buckeye posters are predicting that your offense will put up more than 30 points. While I don't doubt that there might be a possibility, I would like to know where you guys exactly think these points will be coming from.Might be hard to make a case of that when Smith, Ginn, and Co. run up 30+ points...
UT and PSU fans love to bring up their defenses as proof that Troy can't handle their defenses, but he wasn't much better against SDSU's meager defense. There was a noticeable change in his play at QB as 05 progressed, from progressing thru his reads, having poise in the pocket, and trusting his arm over his feet. Our visitors should keep in mind that Troy had 1st team reps for part of the last two seasons, and no other time until this offseason. It's not a stretch to think he will continue to improve.Chris Wells in the red zone instead of Pittman or a Smith option is worth at least a few points. Our #2 QB played half that game and Smith was in for the first time since the previous michigan game, and we still put up 21. Not to mention, having a tight end that doesn't have the dropsies.
Just not having Zwick taking snaps makes us a better team. Besides as most of you pointed out Troy Smith isn't the same player that shared quarterbacking duties in last years game.
Did Zwick graduate, is he still there, and does anyone think he could turn out to be one of those pro surprises--someone who didn't start but turns out to be a pro star.
