Game Thread Game Two: #1 Ohio State 24, #2 Texas 7 (9/9/06)

Not trying to be so condecending but i have only been to Texas once and it was fun had a real good time but, why does everyone from Texas find it so important to tell you that they are from Texas? They also feel the need to tell you why Texas is so much better than any other place. I just dont understand.

I'm guessing you haven't spent much time in NY or LA, or France. Talk about places where people think it's better there.

My experience is that people EVERYWHERE think where they live is the best place of all. It's human nature. When I visited New Zealand, I found it quite humorous, how people on the South Island looked down on people on the North island and vice versa.

I hope you realize that the Texas coaches are throwing every type of blitz they can conceive of at the QBs, so they can recognize them, and the O-line faces them in the process. Zone blitz' are part of the standard UT defense package, so they are something the offense sees repeatedly.
Makes you wonder why the Texas coaches didnt do this prior to last year.....since this obviously means the offense will be so prolific it won't ever be tackled.

judges

Well, lets's see. A son of a former state judge was found with tons of child porn. The judge in Austin said he couldn't convict him, as it would hurt him rather than help him. I'd say that makes our judges down here pretty clueless.

Maybe this judge is related to that judge who refused to send a man to jail because he was "too small'
HAHA

:oh: :io:

I'm not sure I get the point. UTs opponents had 14 sacks and 7 QB hurries all last season, and several of those were against Nordgren and Matt McCoy. In comparison Ohio State gave up 18 sacks and 29 QB Hurries. On the flip side Texas had 34 sacks and 116 QB hurries.

Opponents did not pressure Vince much at all last year and they won't pressure the QBs much this year either.
