Game thread: Minnesota 23, Michigan 20 (final)

Refs and replay just missed one. Henne got sacked, and was starting to throw when he got hit. But the ball went backwards, and it wasn't deflected. That might not have been a fumble, but if it wasn't a fumble it was a live lateral. The announcers missed it, too. Sometimes the announcers need to spot something to have a replay highlighted. Since the replay guys are getting the game feed.

Glen Mason was going nuts. At least scUM had to punt after the next play.

A replay just clearly showed that Hart fumbled and Minny got the ball.

They reviwed it, and said he was ruled down. Unless there was an early whistle, it made no sense.

2nd scUM turnover that replay failed to give to Minny when it should have. Refs are saving scUM's ass so far.

Yeah, Rivas is reasonably accurate but has poor range. That's why he never does kickoffs.

There was an early whistle both on that play and the Henne near-fumble. The replay officials have called everything correctly, but you're right about the on-field officials sucking.
