Spot you Hester. Spot you Moss. Sit our QB for a series or two. Play you in Blacksburg. And kick your ass.

So far I'm sure the BCS guys are celebrating
Yep, if USC and the 'Horns keep rolling, all they need is for Bama to lose one of three tough games (LSU, Auburn, and SEC Championship - probably Georgia in Atlanta), and there is no need for a plus one or anything else this year.

I don't think anybody can justify an unbeaten Alabama team over an unbeaten USC or Texas. They can't score to save their lives on offense.BB73 said:Yep, if USC and the 'Horns keep rolling, all they need is for Bama to lose one of three tough games (LSU, Auburn, and SEC Championship - probably Georgia in Atlanta), and there is no need for a plus one or anything else this year.
well, things may not be so bad if miami continues to lay waste to virginia tech. the pollsters are going to wonder just how strong the hokies' schedule has been. the hokies best victory so far has been the one over boston college, which lost to north carolina today.
as was pointed out, virginia tech is being manhandled at home against a team without their star running back and return specialist. even the starting quarterback was out for a period, and miami moved the ball at will against the supposed vaunted defense of virginia tech.
while virginia tech may not drop below ohio state in the bcs poll, i suspect that it will be very close. furthermore, virginia tech does not have gimmes for the last two games. virginia and north carolina are competent teams. if ohio state and virginia tech win out, i think that the bucks have a much better claim to a higher ranking in the bcs poll.
of course, i'm biased.
