caught for a first down to the 5. Small with the catch.

heavy set.

1st and goal, playaction, incomplete towards Nicol... more defensive pressure. it's not the blitz, it's Wiscy's D-line.

2nd a goal: caught by Robo for a TD! flag is down... let's see... ineligible receiver. W. T. F.

2nd and goaf from the 9: i set, throws incomplete to Nicol. too much sauce...

3rd and goal: 17 seconds left in the half, timeout. here we go: shotgun, 5 wide, back to pass, runs to the 10. time to kick a FG... kick is good.

squibb kick. Rolle with the big stop... 1 second left. Wiscy takes a knee.

first half "observations." the O-line is not having a good day. we're passing too much and not running enough. the D is playing pretty well considering. TOO MANY PENALTIES.

We'll see what adjustements Tressel makes at the half. Wiscy is playing tough, I think we need more Beanie, passes are fun but missing them is killing our drives. Plus they are defending the pass really well so a healthy dose of hard running should loosen up their pass coverage.

Yep, that's what's missing right now. 21 passes, 11 runs....wow.

Wiscy with only 79 total yards...

too much passing... they've only stopped Beanie 1 time all day and we totally go away from him? They did stop saine for a 1 yard loss as well but we need to run the ball more, and if we don't we're goin to have a tough time putting up more points..

The defense is playing awesome though so atleast thats going for us. Wisconsin hasn't had any run game, and if not for the punter we would have totally dominated this game so far.

"How many more shots"? Huh? Three plays...that's all. Now, if we run on first down and get stopped, we still get to tun on second down with over 20 seconds remining and our two TOs. If that run doesn't score, call TO with maybe 15-20 seconds left...one TO left. Run again on third down, and if that doesn't score let the clock run down until 2-3 seconds left, call the last TO, and then kick the FG. With the ball first and goal on the five, the field is too compressed to keep messing with pass plays. Plus, on first down, Boeckman faked a pitch to Beanie before he passed, and Beanie was wide open...Wisconsin was essentially ignoring him, covering the pass.
