You can't do that. You can't "force" the other team to fuck up. That is a recipe for disaster - waiting for a break. You make your own fucking breaks. You have to tackle, cover, block, run hard, throw good passes. Not play soft and wait for the other guy to miss a FG or fuck up. Football lis a game of agression. A-FUCKING-GRESSION, not waiting for the other guy to fuck up. You have to attack and be agressive. This team ain't. And it's coaching.

Did anyone notice them talking about putting Zwick in with a few minutes left? You've got to be kidding me... This first 29 minutes and 30 seconds of the half didn't exactly go our way but it's hardly Smith's fault! Is Smith responsible for FOUR fumbles?!

Troy needs to come out a different player in the second half. I missed the first quarter, but saw him miss a couple of open recievers, and a couple of other bad throws. He needs to get this offense to feed off the momentum from that blocked kick. I'm rooting for him, but my support is definately waning. I'm going to be pissed if I'm traveling to Bloomington to watch this team at 3-3.

Well -I beg to differ on one aspect.

When a team blocks a field goal - they have made their own luck.

I agree that we should not depend on the Spartans imploding.

We should force them to implode. That is what the stop on Stanton made possible.

Agree.

And as much as other people may think I am a whiner.........I would like to say that I love the Buckeyes. I always will love the Buckeyes, always have. If I say something negative and people get offended, annoyed, I am sorry, but I am speaking what I think, and it absolutely does not mean that I am not a fan. Not a homer, ok fine, I accept that, and glad I am not.

Big play at the end of the half. Now put Zwick in there for a change of pace on offense.

Smith gets some of the blame for that botched field goal attempt. Their kicking game has been iffy this year. There have already been two bad snaps by them in this game. Rushing a time running out field goal attempt does not help the situation.
