Game Thread Game One: Ohio State 38, Youngstown St. 6 (final)

OK, in 24 hours this turns into a 'game thread', for comments about what's happening between tOSU and Youngstown State. Since it's the first game in almost 8 months, it's worth noting what's OK and what's not OK in a game thread.

1. Bashing Buckeyes is never permitted on BP.

2. Whining and bitching are not appreciated, and may result in a warning or an infraction. If you have BTN, you can comment on the announcers and rate their performance; if you don't have BTN, nobody wants to hear any more bitching and whining in the game thread about Time-Warner, Comcast, Jim Delany, etc. It's also a new season, we don't need any more complaining about what happened on Janusry 8th.

3. How you say something matters. If you wish the Buckeyes were showing more variety on offense, it's better to say "I wish they'd open things up", or "I'd like to see more deep passes" than "I'm so tired of running the ball up the middle."

4. Since there will be some posters who are only listening to the game, those who are able to see the game while posting should feel free to frequently post what they're seeing.

5. Go Bucks!

I heard a rumor (on this thread) that Time Warner would be doing the same. I didn't believe it, because it didn't make sense to me. But I guess that if one cable company is doing this, TWC may, as well. Anyone know if TWC in Cleveland is going to show the game?

BuckeyeCable in Toledo signed an agreement with BTN a long time ago. TW won't be showing any BTN games until they sign a contract.

My son in law from Westerville, You met him at the PP, not that that proves anything. He said the BTN wants something like $1.25 for every subscriber of TW. And I think I have heard that somewhere else too.
