i dont get it, do you really think that you can win, i mean we are such a better team than you, are you even in the top 25???man you guys are going down!!though i dont understand your confindence..our running backs will shred your d apart!!and so much for that "inexperienced" defence, watch our summer game, scarlet vs. gray on youtube, just type in ohio state and its like the 3rd or 4th one down, you should see how smashing they are. and i bet by the end of the season our defence will be ranked in the top 30..

Bingo. All your fluffy talk about statistics and some of your players showing up on preseason all this and that teams has been getting in the way of something. That something is Ball State. Last year your team lost, at home no less, to Ball Fucking State.
There is no way that a program that lost at home to Ball State in one year is going to play The Ohio State University tought the next.

A QB's rating is dependent on how his receivers catch and how they run after the catch. Completion percentage is dependent on how his receivers catch, they're just stats. Unfortunately there isn't a widely reported stat for leadership or clutch-play.
Krenzel had 1 & 2 in spades, and won a MNC, 3...not so much. I haven't watched Horvath much, so I won't judge him on stats alone.

I said "at least"....I'll give your guys some credit. They're pretty good. At least they didn't lose at home to Ball State. :rofl:

Seriously though....Wolfe might only be the 4th best running back in the stadium. I find it very hard to believe that if Maurice Wells, Antonio Pittman or Erik Haw had started out at NIU in place of Wolfe they wouldn't be among the nation's leaders in rushing. Chris Wells would most likely have supplanted Wolfe in the spring were he at NIU....of course, I could just be blowing a bunch of shit your way because there are like 52 days until the game and I'm getting a little antsy. :p

You might want to take a step back.....GForce says some homeristic things here and there, but I don't think he deserves this post.

Just my honest opinion, but just how big is Garret Wolfe? 5' 5'', 5' 6''? 170-180 lbs.? Go ahead and put him through a Big 10 schedule. I would be willing to bet he wouldn't last a whole season and if he somehow happened to survive a Big 10 schedule, his rushing totals would be significantly down especially in the last few games. Is he a good RB? Absolutely, but he isn't going to star for an NFL team someday like you seem to think.

-Top 5 teams have lost to unranked opponents before. #1 teams have lost to unranked opponents before. Ohio State has lost, at home, while #1 to at least one unranked opponent before.

-Summer game or Spring game?...either way, not a real game. You can only get so much from them.
-I think that 30 is odd for you to say. I'll be pissed if they're not in the top 20 in scoring defense.

First you weren't impressed by Wolfe's game @ Toledo where he had over 200 yards, and now I am supposed to be impressed by your defense in the spring game where they basically know what is coming?

Well in that case NIU's D is going to be AWESOME this year. The final score of the spring game was 6-3.

Do I think we can win? Yeah of course I do, I wouldn't be a fan if I didn't. Will we? Probbably not.

NIU had the 34th ranked scoring D last year, you might want to set your sights alittle higher then 30.
