So you really and truly think that Antonio Pittman will have a better college and pro career than Chris Wells?
Whatever.
Look. I said that I like Pittman and Mo Wells. They just don't have what I prefer in a RB. It's a question of physics. Force=Mass*Acceleration!
The Mass of Chris Wells tips the scales in his favor. No pun intended!
Look, everyone just conceed that we are the best fans of the best football team for the best university in the world. Then we can all get along...
that's a separate subject, I'd imagine he took issue with this line:So you really and truly think that Antonio Pittman will have a better college and pro career than Chris Wells?
probably b/c they look for guys with great measurables and highlights... rather than a very productive RB who can block & catch as well as he can run.Why do you think that is?
Bingo. Look at Michael Hart at Michigan. He's also bigger than Wolfe (5'9", 192) but a tad smaller than Pittman, and missed quite a bit of PT last year due to injuries after having that banner year as a true freshman in 2004.

However, when picking who the best RB on the field September 2nd, Chris Wells is my clear choice.probably b/c they look for guys with great measurables and highlights... rather than a very productive RB who can block & catch as well as he can run.
We start Chris Wells against NIU. Give him the rock 35 times. Let him rush for 250 yds and 3 or 4 touchdowns.
Reggie Bush is still bigger than Wolfe.NIU007 said:Do you think Reggie Bush is going to hold up in the NFL? He's not very big either, and he never carried the ball that much at USC. If NIU had a Lendale White, we wouldn't have had to give Wolfe the ball 25-30 times a game. That takes a toll on anybody.
Reggie Bush is still bigger than Wolfe.
