No he wouldn't. He would be your starter, and he will prove it in September.

Who said that men don't understand foreplay?
Ok I get this logic.Admittedly, I don't know anything about Northern Illinois. Except that I might assume that it's IN Illinois somewhere. But if this running back is as small as people are saying, and if people think that Ohio State's defense will not suffer much from losing three awesome linebackers, I can see him getting knocked out of his shoes a couple of times during the game. Those hits are going to take their toll, and he's going to become hesitant when he has the ball. He'll fumble more than once, and he won't be as effective.
Ohio State is going to fling him around like a rag-doll.
I thought you said you got the logic.G-FORCE said:Ok I get this logic.
He is small so he isn't good and will be easy to stop.
Umm no.
Yeah, cuz Notre Dame sure did show they belonged. Oregon didn't have their starting qb Kellen Clemens. If they did, Oregon beats Oklahoma by 2 touchdowns and scores at least 30. It was clear to anyone watching that game that the only thing Oregon was missing was a consistent passing game. Oregon probably would've been smoked by us also but they definitely were more deserving than Notre Dame.

Those are Kellen's stats. He wasn't just some crappy quarterback, that's why it was a big deal when Oregon lost him. He had tons of experience not to mention skill that Oregon needed on offense.
um, not that i agree or disagree with either of you about oregon's ability......but they didn't play anyone. showing a SoS that's 5 off from NA just proves it.
which really doesn't help your point, since the ranking is nearly identical, and I think it's safe to say this board feels ND's schedule was wildly overrated. They had two good opponents, SC (who drilled Oregon with clemens) & OU (where he was hurt). But at the end of the day, this is an OSU board and an NIU thread.Oregon's schedule was weak, and ND's was even weaker.
