I was wondering how they were going to do this, since in the books the Reeds were wards at Winterfell and escaped with Bran, Rickon, Hodor! and the Wildling.

Jojen is one of my favorites.

This Weeks ep was awesome. Blackfish! Riverrun! From the previews....next week we should be meeting Beric. This season is so fucking sick already...and they've barely scratched the surface.

Briefly met the good lord in Season 1, when Ned sent him after the Mountain. Other than that, I don't recall him being mentioned at all prior to now.

Yeah, but not the same actor. This is the "real" Lightning Lord. So many epic moments upcoming.

Thought the small council scene was a nice touch.

Soooo glad they aged up Missandei. She's fucking hot.

Next ep should really set off the action, and it will last two years. Can't. Fucking. Wait.

Also, the Blackfish's armor was so badass. Loved how he looked at the flag before firing, then doesn't even watch it land!

GRRM needs to hurry up with the Winds of Winter. I needs my fix.

Truly. What a remarkable translation from the book to the screen. Yeah, they've left some things out & entirely changed some others, but it's without a doubt one of the best book-to-tv series I've ever seen.

I agree. Some of the things that have been left out are just page filling politics. Amongst other story lines, trying to hook up Sansa with the crippled Tyrell brother is unnecessary for the TV show. I'm glad that they've kind of streamlined some of the book.

On another, not like the book, topic. I'm normally opposed to wasting time by adding stupid little things that aren't in the book. However, the Podrick in the whore house thread that's going on right now has been hilarious, and has actually been woven into other threads pretty well.

Couldn't have said it any better. They have really made it more entertaining from a TV viewing aspect. The books only give you vantage points from certain characters & the show does an awesome job of adding in that missing component from the books.
