Aunt and nephew is incest. But first cousins once removed is not. Technically speaking, Dany and Jon are both, because Dany's father's sister is Jon's grandmother, and Dany's mother's brother is Jon's grandfather.

It's complicated. It not incest by two criteria, but it is incest by one.

The show runners are going to treat it like a major hurdle/problem based on the way they talk about it in the post show reviews.

Maybe Jaime will show up in time to give them some helpful advice.

It is just me or does the dead dragon seem like a jet while the other 2 look like WW2 prop planes? Maybe they're just scarier when they fight for the other side or maybe the holes in the wings increase air speed. Another thought, so much was made about how long it took the Night King to make it to the wall, but what if he needed the dragon in order to get through the wall? If they had just left him alone would the dead have just been stuck up there? The Wildlings couldn't get past like 50 crows on the wall so 200K dead might not be able to get past thousands on the wall especially when they only have to aim the dragonglass arrows at the 10 blue guys.

Wonder how the northerners are going to take it when they find out Jon's real name?

Seems like they have a lot to finish up in 6 episodes next year. War with the dead then war for the iron throne. At least they got Jamie on the right side now so he won't have to go down with Cersei. He'll also let them know what they have waiting for them if/when they return south.

Jamie's going to kill Cersei anyway.

I love that, in a season where the fans bitched about travel time, the first however many minutes was just everybody walking to a place. Like the writers got pissed off at everybody bitching about them skipping the boring parts and were like, "Fine, assholes. Here's a long fucking walk for no reason".
Similar to the dialogue during the trek north of the wall, I think it was more a function of them having major characters in the same place at the same time for the first time and thinking "oooh, wouldn't it be neat if these two talked!? and wouldn't it be neat if these two talked!?... oh wait, how are we going to fit all this in? eh, we'll just have them all walking somewhere."

I don't know quite what to make of him lingering in the hall watching Jon go into Dany's room, but I imagine that scene is important at some point. Is he just musing "I knew this would happen"? Is he thinking what problems this might create and trying to solve them? Or is there a more base jealousy there that the show runners are beginning to hint at being a big thing next season? If it's the latter... could we be setting ourselves up for a Jamie/Tyrion side-switch?
