If we learned anything from Daenerys getting raped by your husband makes you stronger. I'm glad I don't read the books so I can take the show for what it is. Can't wait till next season when the books don't matter anymore.

The whole On the Road to Dorne with Hope and Crosby and the Sand Worms plot has been a huge letdown so far. The "for fcuk's sake" line from Bronn made it all worthwhile, though. In any other episode that would've been the line of the night but with Mr. Eko from Lost proclaiming the "dwarf lives until we find a cock merchant" it was a distant second.

The wedding night scene was far less extreme than I expected based upon projections from the books involving intercourse with a dog and cunnilingus by Theon. Your average, run of the mill wedding night forced sex is pretty tame by comparison. Good choice to focus the camera on Theon while it was happening.

I can't think of a worse scene in the show. The Grey Worm/Missandei Scissorfest will probably be better produced.

Seeing D&D have clowns kill Barristan and make the Sand Snakes into histrionic Ninja Turtles after Pedro Pascal nailed Oberyn just gives me that Winds of Winter itch. The Tywin/Arya change they made worked out and now they think every shit they take is gold.

Such is inevitable when you try and combine several different story arcs among already existing characters instead of trying to introduce new ones.
