Torrents are better quality. It also pixelated several times, which I never get with any other channels.

side note.. kinda glad it wasn't just me ... wife was starting to get pissed

Really surprised by how much I enjoyed the first episode this season. Just fucking sweet. Totally got geek chills when Mel introduced Jon to Stannis the Mannis atop The Wall as "The Bastard of Winterfell".

Stannis and Jon are my two favorite characters in the books. Especially their interactions along with Davos at Castle Black. It feels like the show writers have almost changed their opinion of Stannis and are now writing him differently than previous seasons and I'm fucking digging it.

They're supposed to be making some significant changes from the books (including killing off a main character still alive in print) which I think is a smart choice.

Martin introduced too much shit for his own good in books 4 and 5 imo, and it will be nice for a fresh, more streamlined take on the more interesting stories.

I still think

R+L=J

will be the end game in some way.

It will be interesting to see who Roose Bolton runs in to up north in season 5.

They haven't introduced Manderly at all as far as I remember, or anyone else of note for that matter.

The switch from the mountain tribes to the wildlings being asked to join Stannis is a seemingly significant shift that could impact Jon Snow's story arc in a significant way as well.
