If you read the first book or saw the first season you know there are dragon riders. It's how the Targarians first took over Westeros.

ive read the first book and watched all the seasons and i was unaware that those dragons were going to grow large enough or fast enough to be ridden in this series... let alone that there would somehow be a possibility of snow being one of them

Snow possibly being a Targarian is a fan theory, not in the books. Aegon conquered Westeros on the back of a Dragon therefore it stand to reason these ones will grow large enough to be ridden otherwise what's the point of writing about them. Again it’s a fan theory not in the books.
