Congrats, I called that one too.Buckeyeskickbuttocks;612133; said:I predicted OSU would beat the shit out of Indiana where's my props?

I especially like the comment about how well Morelli plays against better competition. He's started 3 games, played OK against Akron, got rocked by ND and basically sucked against YSU. So I'm assuming by "better competition" he means PSU's scout team last season.![]()

I like how he boasts how he predicted PSU over Minnesota.

About Morelli said:He was overconfident against Youngstown State. He will not suffer the same fate against a respectable opponent like OSU. Morelli's best game was against the most formidable defense we played against. Why? Why did Morelli tail off against Akron after starting so well?

Now for my predictions...
We will beat PSU, Iowa, BGSU, MSU, IU, Minny, Illy, NW and scUM. We will then win our bowl game, another "staple" under Tressel.
Just curious what makes you think a PSU offense that struggled against 1-AA YSU and was, too be kind, mediocre against ND will score 26 points against a defense that has allowed that number in its previous 3 games...to include what is still a potent Texas offense?buckeye247;612141; said:I think its going to be a tougher game than most think im saying,

Better let JT know that. Anyone have his E-Mail address?Oh8ch;612173; said:I guess our only chance is to spot PSU to a big lead. That way Morelli will become overconfident and we can stage a comeback.

No. Last years offensive woes were the result of an incredible defense with guys like Tamba Hali, Scott Paxson, Matthew Rice, Alan Zemaitis, Chris Harrell, Calvin Lowry, and Anwar Phillips. All seniors ... all gone. That's 3/4ths of the D-Line and the entire secondary.Best Buckeye;611177; said:I think last years offense woes were somewhat decided when Barton got hurt early on a FG attempt and we had to shift linemen around which caused us big problems.
I agree. Troy will torch their DBs, Morelli won't be able to return the favor.Best Buckeye;611177; said:That wont happen this year.

In fact, they'll be lucky to sniff the endzone at all...
Bulletin board material
No. 1: Apparently safety Donnie Johnson didn't hear Paterno when, after Saturday's loss, the coach said the Lions were going to go home and "keep our mouths shut."
An Ohio native, Johnson was asked what next weekend's game at No. 1 Ohio State meant.
"Nothing," Johnson said. "I never did like Ohio State. I have no respect for Ohio State whatsoever. Hopefully, they'll still be No. 1, so if we knock them off, Penn State will be right back on the map."
No. 2: Johnson apparently didn't have much respect for Notre Dame either - until that game began:
"We looked at Notre Dame film, and they weren't good from what we saw on film," said the senior safety, who admitted to being shocked. "They didn't have nothing that stood out."
